I got recommended this series because of my love of Alice and I now officially love this mini series. So I will be doing Virginia's costume that she wears practically throughout the whole thing.
I have been reading this awesome webcomic called The Dreamer by Lora Innes
Creator Lora Innes writes and illustrates the tale of 17-year-old Beatrice "Bea" Whaley, a student who begins having vivid dreams about a brave and handsome soldier named Alan Warren... a member of an elite group known as Knowlton's Rangers that fought during the Revolutionary War. Prone to keeping her head in the clouds, Bea welcomes her nightly adventures in 1776; filled with danger and romance they give her much to muse about the next day. But it is not long before Beatrice questions whether her dreams are simply dreams or something more...
Alice on SyFy is one of the best mini-series out there, the best on all that I have seen!!! I loved Tin Man too though. Not only did I love the series, I loved the look of Alice. The series was completely AMAZING. I now own the DVD, yay!
I can't even describe how much I loved the show. In the show, costume related (my specialty), Alice is wearing a 1960s-ish mod scooter blue dress, red tights, purple boots, and a plum purple velvet coat that Hatter gave to her that was the exact length of her dress (which by the way Andrew Lee Potts is a very attractive and extremely lovable Hatter).
I am going to post where to find costume and prop replicas used in the mini series. Please check and make sure everything is legitimate before you buy anything.
Alice:
Dress:
Alice's dress had two slit pockets and was a light blue with two zig-zag ribbon things that went down the front in a U shape, as well as completely around the bottom once.

You should note, however, that her sketch is missing a button. There are 3 buttons.
